Grace Megan in the woods

On a Sunny Sunday morning I went to the local woods with the lovely Grace to get some photos of her in her lovely new clothes…

Joanna and Andrew

On a SUNNY October Saturday, Jo and Andrew tied the knot at Woking Registry office, and then when onto a relaxed reception at The Mill Pub in Elstead. As the sun shone down on us all outside next to the river we were given a friendly welcome by the resident ducks! After a really easy going relaxed and few hours, I left the party to have their wedding breakfast and enjoy the rest of their day…

Jenny and Micheal

Well, you’ve gotta LOVE Brighton! Jenny moved form Berkshire down to Brighton a few years ago now and met Michael, so getting married there was an obvious and brilliant choice. To make things even sweeter, they live just a short stroll from the bandstand so Jenny, her dads, and her girls all walked down together in the beautiful weather (THANK YOU SKIES!)

After a short but incredibly sweet service, and a few drinks and nibbles on the bandstand, it was time for another stroll into town to the reception – which was held in a converted church!

Really lovely, really unique – I could have easily stayed all day! But alas, I left them all to it as they sat down to their meal.

Becky and Lewis

Monday  1st August was the lovely and relaxed wedding day of Becky and Lewis in Frome. Although they kept up some of the traditions they decided to do without speeches (although Dad did ‘toast’ for quite some time!), cake cutting, and a long first dance. The overall feel of the day was very relaxed and happy, and I think the photos really do tell the story of the day fantastically…

Sarah And Neil’s wedding day

Sarah and Neil’s wedding day came around in a flash! I was with them for three hours, and in that time we had several heavy down pours that left us running for cover, and then back out again into the sunshine. Good olde blighty eh!?!

We didn’t let the weather phase us though, and got some great shots….

Alex’s 30th birthday

Had a great evening photographing an 80′s themed 30th birthday at Wellington college. Alex, the birthday boy was Micheal Jackson from Thriller! There was a great effort made all round, from robocop to rubix cube!

Grace & Abby at their ballet show

WELL, what can I say about Grace and Abby? Two best friends that are both as crazy as each other! Their mums decided it would be a great idea to capture them at their ballet show, as at the moment they absolutely love ballet! Being such an enjoyable part of their lives makes it definitely worthy of documenting, so that they can look at the photos for years to come. So here it is…

Baby Lennon

Here are a few of my favourite shots from a portrait shoot with Lennon (what a great name!) and his mum Julia. Bless him, he was teething that day but we still got some cracking shots between a few tears! That’s the good thing about home shoots with babies, at least you know you have everything to hand if you need it, and Lennon definitely needed his banana flavoured bonjela! There is certainly no mistaking he’s a boy – think he could well be a rugby player when older he’s, what a bruiser! A really enjoyable shoot, both Lennon and Julia were so lovely, and really enjoyed themselves.

Jimbo and Jo’s wedding

At the beginning of April my very good friends Jimbo and Jo got married, and my Boyfriend and I were both part of the bridal party. This was fantastic for me, as since being a professional wedding photographer I’ve not been a part of the bridal party. I was a bridesmaid for my best friend whilst at university, and she preferred my photos to the ones her official photographer took which was when I first started thinking about the possibility of becoming a wedding photographer.

So, this time although I obviously couldn’t resist the odd snap here and there, I really did just enjoy the wedding. I thought I’d share some of the shots I took though, so here they are…

Sunny Sunday afternoon

I met up with Sarah and Neil in Windsor at the weekend to discuss their wedding in June. After running through things we took a walk along the river for ten minutes for a few quick snaps. This is a great way for me to get used to how they photograph, and for them to get used to me snapping away at them before the big day.

They were both great, and look really relaxed and happy in the photos (even though Neil was dreading it!)

Here’s a few of my favourite shots…
